By Kamy
Lelli de Orleans e Bragança is an exquisite, thorough and meticulous visual artist, whose works portray scenes of lush forests and the Brazilian biome with astonishing precision and an admirable wealth of detail. Her canvases act as windows onto Brazilian tropical landscapes, carrying them around the world. by Kamy brought Lelli's paintings into the textile world, transforming them into beautiful embroidered tapestries — an immense challenge that only meticulous, delicate work with fine lines could turn into a piece worthy of the artist's originals. This tapestry was made entirely by the social project 1+1+ by Kamy, where a group of artisans who, until recently, worked harvesting coffee in southern Minas Gerais, were trained by visual artist Elisa Lobo and became co-creators of these beautiful pieces, which we are proud to present for your decor. The heliconias, emerging from the greenery, stand out in vibrant red, creating a striking contrast, while the forest's dense vegetation seems to come alive through the intertwined embroidery lines that heighten the sense of depth.Design: Lelli de Orleans e Bragança
