Rio 1958 Fun is a visual tribute to Rio de Janeiro in the late 1950s – the so-called ‘Pearl of the Atlantic’, which was (and continues to be) a vibrant city full of life, known as a ‘Paris of the Tropics’. In black and white, the design reflects the elegance and sophistication of Rio and the bohemian vibrancy so characteristic of the ‘Marvellous City’, evoking retro music and lifestyle. A by Kamy Verde developed and crafted this rug from fragments of other rugs, creating a beautiful piece that evokes all the charm of the 1950s.Design: BKV
